Awake Early Years Consultancy is a team of industry experts passionate about supporting day nurseries, pre-schools, schools, early learning centres and childcare practitioners to be the best they can be. Established in 2017, our team of early years consultants and trainers brings many years of professional experience. Having managed Ofsted-registered day nurseries and worked as Ofsted inspectors, we understand quality childcare from the perspectives of both practitioners and regulators. Our team understands the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS) and Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework (EIF), and we provide tailored solutions that help clients achieve the best outcomes for the children in their care.

Abraham is an experienced Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) consultant, former Ofsted Inspector, leader, and doctoral researcher with over 16 years of professional experience across practice, regulatory regimes, quality assurance, organisational leadership, and early years pedagogy. He supports organisations in delivering high-quality outcomes for children, families, and communities through evidence-informed leadership, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. His profile reflects a distinctive blend of operational expertise and scholarly engagement, positioning him at the intersection of policy, regulation, leadership, and pedagogy. Drawing on experience across practice, inspection, and research, he brings a critical, informed perspective to improving quality, strengthening professional practice, and advancing excellence across diverse ECEC contexts.
